The Process of Painting
Read carefully to the bottom of this page, and you will see a form to request a commission. Each painting takes an average of 2 weeks, so plan accordingly. If commissioning a mural, please fill out form normally and specify "Mural" in the Additional Materials tab.
1. In the form below, tell me a little about yourself and a brief description of what you were interested in having commissioned.
Include also:
- How many subjects (number of dogs, children, people, etc.) in the painting?
- Name of the subjects (I like to know who I'm painting!)
- Desired canvas size (See full list below)
- Full body vs. shoulders up portrait
- Background patterns/designs
- Additional materials: Linen, Wider canvas frame dimensions, muslin, etc.
Pricing & Pictures
2. Once finished compiling all of this information, and after submitting your request, I will send you a price estimate. Once happy with the price, you will send me 1-3 high quality reference images for reproduction. If the images are not high quality, they can still be painted but the results will definitely be different from that of a painting from a high resolution photo. Once your pictures are approved, you will be asked to submit a security deposit to reserve your project on the books. Deposits are obtained through Venmo, SquareCash, and PayPal.
All projects are first come first served and will be put on the books in order of security deposit receipt.
